Tarka Patil has completed her diploma in filmmaking from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.
She enjoys experimenting with her style of filmmaking.
She is made an entertaining ad spot for Polo mint, a public service announcement against the social myth of possession in woman, a short fiction film ‘Ekaaksha’ (One eyed) that questions the beliefs about the death rituals conducted in India, an experimental docu-fiction ‘Reflections’ that explores the Kaleidoscopic world of mirrors.
Her diploma documentary film ‘Ojharati Valu’ (The vanishing sand) tell stories of her hometown Alibag and thus tries to create awareness about diminishing culture and nature in the age of commercialization.
She finds inspiration in the nature, Indian mythology and people. She wants to work in the field of advertisements, documentaries and short films in future.
